Composting and Waste Management Training
Period: 30 October – 9 November 2018
Between 30 October and 9 November 2018, ETHAIA trained the group of operators at the Okhalassana Composting Centre in Nacala, as well as technicians and workers from the Nacala City Municipal Council under the “Environmental Restoration” project co-funded by the European Union and implemented by the Municipal Council, NGO LVIA and the National Association of Mozambican Municipalities (ANAMM).
Various theoretical and practical sessions were held, during which several compost piles were built and the facility was started up.
In addition to the training, the Centre’s Operational Guide was developed, along with information and outreach materials.
